Community is more than geography; it is the institutions and gathering places we have created and sustained. We are collecting stories about schools, cemeteries, hospitals, churches, fire departments, libraries, bars, restaurants, hotels, roadhouses, and other meeting places. These spaces hold memories of births and losses, milestones and celebrations. These stories reveal how shared spaces and traditions built a sense of home.
